Carbon Dashboard stands out as a unique mobile application that utilizes algorithms to calculate daily carbon emissions based on individual consumption and action routes. By transforming consumption data into visualizations of carbon emissions, users can gain a more precise understanding of the sources of high carbon emissions in their lives.

One of the key strengths of Carbon Dashboard lies in its ability to categorize the sources of carbon emissions, enabling users to identify areas where they can make changes to reduce their carbon footprint. By socially ranking the carbon emissions of users, the app stimulates a sense of competition and encourages individuals to actively reduce their carbon emissions.

The app is designed for iOS platforms, fitting various screen sizes, with a specific focus on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. With a screen size of 1242px x 2688px and a resolution of 458 PPI, the interface provides a visually appealing and user-friendly experience.

Developed by Yaping Shao and her team, Carbon Dashboard is the result of extensive research and user interviews. The project, which started in September 2020 and concluded in May 2021 in China, aimed to change people's behavior through visualization. The team overcame challenges in developing the algorithm that accurately transforms carbon emissions and consumption behavior data, ensuring users have a clear understanding of the environmental impact of their individual actions.

Carbon Dashboard not only empowers users to make informed decisions about their consumption behavior but also fosters a greater willingness to reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment. By visualizing their carbon emissions, users are motivated to take action and contribute to a more sustainable future.

This innovative mobile application, designed by Yaping Shao and her team, has been recognized for its excellence. Carbon Dashboard was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects, and Green Design category in 2022. This prestigious accolade is a testament to the app's well-designed, practical, and innovative approach, meeting professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.
